REGISTRATION FEE: $250
AGE REQUIREMENTS: Cheerleading is open to girls between the ages of 3 and 17. Marlboro Boys and Girls Club registration is mandatory for all participants.
MVA ID CARDS: Every player is required to have a Maryland MVA ID Card issued by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration. it takes approximately 1-2 weeks to receive your card in the mail after you have applied. COACHES: We welcome back all previous coaches and are looking for more. All interested in coaching this upcoming season please contact the cheer commissioner at the contact information listed below.
SEASON DURATION: The season begins in July and extends through December for playoff and championship games.
CLINICS: Join us for a cheer clinic to teach cheers, motions, transitions, jumps, and more. Our clinic provides a warm up opportunity for all participants considering registering or who have already registered for our 2025 Sideline Cheer Season.
Cheer Clinic#1: July 7, 2025– July 30, 2025
Every: Monday & Wednesday
Time: 6:30pm-8:00pm

PRACTICES: Teams will practice two days a week from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all practices. Practices will be held at Sasscer Field 14201 School Lane Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
GAMES: League football games begin the 1st weekend in Sept. through mid November. Cheerleaders are expected to cheer at all games. Games are generally held on Saturdays. The younger kid have games on Sundays. Games will be played at a few different fields in the area.
UNIFORMS: Cheerleading uniforms will be worn by all girls. The rental fee for the uniform is included in the registration. However, in addition to the rental fee, parents will provide a Maryland State MVA issued ID card to pick up the uniform. The ID card will be returned once the uniform is returned. Parents will be responsible for additional accessory/uniform pack that will compliment and complete the uniform. Please let us know if you reside in another state and can't obtain an ID card.
TEAM PICTURES: Professional Team and individual pictures will be taken during the season. TBD
FUNDRAISING: We will offer families a fundraising opportunity to help offset program costs. All families will be encouraged to participate in fundraising during the season.
COMPETITION: Cheerleaders will have an opportunity to be selected to participate in a Showcase & or a few Cheer Competitions. Details will be provided.
