MBGC Football Program

The MBGC football program's primary objective is to teach the fundamentals of the game, good sportsmanship, and the concept of teamwork. We have 2 levels to the football program: Tackle and Pee Wee (flag).

Our Tackle Program is open to kids ages 7-16 (age based on July 31st of current year). There is a county weight requirement that each child must meet.  The Sport Fee for tackle football is $125 and does not include the cost of the mandatory uniform.  The uniform, consisting of the jersey and pants, will cost $75.

The Pee Wee program will have 3 leagues. The flag leagues have no weight requirements:
An exclusive 7 year old (Flag) League - cannot turn 8 years old before December 31st.
A 5/6 year old (Flag) League - must be 5 years old by July 31, and cannot turn 7 years old before December 31st.
A 6/7 year old (Tackle) League, max weight 70lbs and cannot turn 8 years old before December 31st.

The Sport Fee for Pee Wee football is $80 and does not include the cost of the mandatory uniform.  The uniform, consisting of the jersey and pants, will cost $65.

Also, MBGC participates in a no-weight restrictive Middle School Division. The unlimited weight division has been established to provide an opportunity for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders an exclusive venue to compete against their peers.  This is a true Middle School age division with no minimum or maximum weight limit. The only restriction is that players cannot turn 15 during the year in which they play.

PLAYER IDENTIFICATION CARD (YELLOW CARD):
All players must have a yellow card to play. Any delay on the part of the parents to provide the proper documents will result in the player possibly not playing in games. NO PLAYER WILL PLAY WITHOUT A LAMINATED YELLOW CARD. PARENTS.
AT YOUR FIRST PRACTICE, have in your hand, a copy of the players birth certificate and a passport size photo of the player. You will provide these items to your team coordinator in order to process and receive a laminated yellow card (PGCBGC Identification card).

TEAM UNIFORMS:
We anticipate receiving players game uniforms by Thursday Aug 19th.  All uniforms will be issued as a complete team set once Ms. Ann has received that team's payment in full. Parents must make payment for uniform to the team coordinator.  Team Coordinators must compile payment of entire team and provide to Ms. Ann to pick up team uniforms. All uniforms for each team will be picked up by the Team Coordinator only. Please be prepared with a size chart for your entire team . Cost for the uniform is $75.

Provide this order form with your payment to your team coordinator ASAP. The Marlboro “U” embroidered logo will be included on all items.   Please do not anticipate arrival of entire order prior to September 10th, however, we are hoping for a quick turnaround and will get the items to everyone as soon as they arrive.
