MBGC Baseball Program

Marlboro Boys and Girls Club Fall Baseball will play in the Prince Georges County Boys & Girls Club League if offered. We will also offer a SUNDAY only league for those interested that is based out of Anne Arundel. They will have A, B, and C divisions for ages 7-16. PG SELECT (tryouts) will place a team in the A division while Marlboro will teams in the B and C divisions. based on the ages on the teams.

 AGE CRITERIA: (all ages as of May 1, 2011)
Coach Pitch- Girls and Boys 7 and 8 years old 

10U League- Boys 9 and 10                 12U League– Boys 11 and 12        

14U League- Boys 13 and 14               16U League-Boys 15 and 16                      

PRACTICES - Will begin August 14, 2010 and will be held two days per week. Saturday and Sunday only until season begins then one weeknight and Saturday afternoon practice when season begins 

GAMES - Will be held on SUNDAYS. Locations to be determined.

UNIFORMS - Team uniforms will be worn, prices TBA. Uniform cost is not included in registration fees. (Same uniforms as Spring Baseball Season)

TEAM FORMATIONS - Will be based on number of registrants and could be different at each age group.  Coaches will be allotted a minimal group of core players.

SEASON DURATION - Will begin September 12 (SUNDAYS) and last 8 weeks.

FUNDRAISING - All families will be required to participate in a fundraiser during the season.
